1st through 3rd Grade

This class is taught by Lue Thompson.

A Note From Ms. Lue:  I have taught Bible Study classes for over 15 years.  I feel the Lord was asking me to take this class because I had been filling in as a teacher where needed and our daughter had been promoted to officer in the military and was away doing extensive training that year.  I felt in a way, I was serving both God and my country!

I have been married for over 49 years.  We have three grown kids and four grandchildren.  We love to go camping and fishing asa family.  I like to read biblical books.  A favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you."  To me, that means no matter what we endure in our daily lives, we know that He will be there for us, unconditionally!

When I felt the Lord leading me to help in church, I started as an assistant in preschool then moved to the nursery.  I have been teaching first and second graders for three years now and am excited to be adding 3rd graders to our class! When asked to begin teaching the first and second grade class, we were caregivers to our grandson and I wanted to maintain his church training; possibly leading him to meet Jesus.

I'd like to invite 1st through 3rd Graders to join us in Sunday School.  ASAP!
